Class DescriptionsFor all classes, please wear comfortable clothing such as yoga pants and a tank top. No dance experience needed except for Level 2 classes. Fitness - pregnancy and new mom classes PoleLaTeaz - Femme Fatale workout classes Kids Music Studio - Kindermusik Classes Fit N Fun Kidz - workout classes for children Core Classes: African Dance - Explore traditional West African movements and work muscles you never knew you had! Ballet Fit – Bring out the prima ballerina within! Tone and tighten (and get that heart rate up) with this complete ballet workout. You might find yourself dusting off that tutu… Bellydance Basics - This class focuses on proper body alignment and posture, identifying simple Middle Eastern rhythms, increasing overall strength and flexibility, understanding isolations, and developing movement awareness. Learn the basic traditional bellydance movements as well as belly dance terminology. Bellydance Bootcamp – We took our Basics class and took it up a notch! Specifically created for the female body, each bellydance movement sculpts the body in a natural way. Combine that with faster-paced traveling movements, and your workout is complete. You can thank us later. Caliente – Our hot, hot, hot salsa workout will leave you begging for more. Cardio Cheer -Gimme a C! This class is perfect for former cheerleaders as well as those of you who hated them. Get your revenge in this high-impact and high-energy workout that incorporates cheer moves as well as intensive strength exercises. Great for the abs, glutes, and especially the arms! (Shoes needed.) Cardio Ballet - Learn fundamental ballet movements in a fast-paced, music-pumping environment. You've never worked out so gracefully! Dance for Joy – A perfect class for the absolute beginner. Learn to strengthen and stretch with yoga and ballet, learn lyrical movements with scarves, and explore the dance techniques of modern and folk dances. Hooping – Hula hooping combines a great cardio workout with the benefits of core training, flexibility, & coordination. You'll have so much fun in this class; you won't realize you're working out! Iyengar Yoga – In Iyengar yoga, correct body alignment allows the body to develop harmoniously in an anatomically correct way so that the student suffers no injury or pain when practicing correctly. Mr Iyengar has also developed the use of props to help the body into the correct positions required, with the recognition that all bodies are different and people have different weaknesses and strengths. Jazz Basics – From Broadway to Britney, jazz dance forms the basis for a wide variety of dance movements. Check out this intro class, which includes a complete warm up as well as choreography. Jump Rope - We took out the nursery rhymes, but left all the fun! This class will help you gain stamina while burning calories and toning legs and arms. Latin Jazz Groove – Add some spice to your workout routine with this hot new class featuring a fusion of Latin movements with jazz choreography. Level 2 Jazz – Take it to the next level! If you have dance experience and want to be a bit more challenged (but aren’t quite ready to take it on tour) this class is right for you! Mat Pilates - The classic. Breathing, core strength, and cool music. This series of matwork will re-shape and re-energize your body, especially those abs, legs, and arms. Modern Basics – Explore the basics of contemporary dance and movement. Studio Jam - Part hip hop, part jazz, and part aerobics, this workout will have you smiling while you're sweating. Class consists of a complete warm-up with strength work followed by floor work and simple choreography. |
