Caitlin Collins

Caitlin began her training at the age of seven, under the direction of Nicolas Pacaña, Gregory Aaron, and Jocelyn Buchanan. She has performed in the corps de ballet for Atlanta Festival Ballet in The Nutcracker, Jungle Book, Beauty and the Beast, Sleeping Beauty, Swan Lake and Peter Pan. Caitlin has also acted around the United States and performed with such companies as The Atlanta Workshop Players, Mid-Summer Macon, Mainstreet Players, and Destiny Players to name a few. Most recently, she appeared as Ruth, in the independent film Dear Becca.

 

 

Judith Davis

Miss Jude has been dancing she was 2 ½ years old.  Growing up, she trained at the Peabody Institute in Maryland and the Floyd Ward School of Dance in Virginia.  As an adult, she took classes with Al Gilbert, Janice Barringer, Darryl Retter, the Rockettes, and the New York City Dance Company.  Miss Jude received a Masters Degree in Education from the University of Georgia; a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology Cum Laude from North Carolina State University, where she was the mascot her senior year; and a Master Cosmetology license, where she served on the Georgia Cosmetology National Cosmetology Association board and was a guest presenter for the International Hair Show.  She was awarded Teacher of the Year from Maxwell High School and was listed in the 2007 Who’s Who Among America’s Teachers.  She has appeared in numerous magazines as a print model and hair / make-up artist.  She taught jazz for the New Jersey Jazz Company and Elite Gymnastics.  She continues to serve as the Director of the Christian dance troupe she founded, Inspirations, whose home is now Dance Fusion.  Inspirations members have won numerous dance competitions and have performed at Disney; on Carnival’s Cruise Ship, the Fantasy; during the Gator Bowl Half Time Show; and at various other local and statewide venues.  In 2010, Inspirations members danced as guest artists in Atlanta Festival Ballet’s Nutcracker.  In addition to directing her Inspirations Troupe and teaching a variety of other dance classes at Dance Fusion, she directs Dance Fusion’s Community Dancers and Special Programs.  Miss Jude’s passion is being a mom and wife, as well as serving those she teaches by sharing her love of God, dance, and life with each and every one.

 

 

Rebecca Gallas

Miss Rebecca took her first dance class when she was four years old.  She is trained in Jazz, Ballet, Hip Hop, Lyrical, and Pom (Cheer Dance).  Rebecca began competing on a Pom Team at the age of 12, and since has won several titles and awards.  She has been named a National Dance Alliance All-American and a National Dance Alliance Pom Regional and National Champion, titles she has held since the age of 13.  She also earned the National Pom Classic Champion title, a regional competition held at the Palace of Auburn Hills.  Her Senior Year of High school, she also earned the title of Captain of her Elite All-Stars Pom team. Originally from Detroit, Michigan, Rebecca studied under the East Coast State Director of the National Dance Alliance, Chrissy Fortuna, which gave her several wonderful opportunities.  This included studying dance under world renowned choreographers like Wade Robson (So You Think You Can Dance) and Hip Hop’s Diva HiHat (Choreographer of Missy Elliott, Mary J. Blige, P. Diddy, and Jay Z). She has also had opportunities to dance in several venues across the country, including halftime performances at Detroit Pistons games and performances on the Hard Rock Live stage in Orlando, Florida.  She was also invited to dance the halftime show at the Hula Bowl in Hawaii, the Orange Bowl in Miami, and the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City.  Following graduation from High School, she was able to study dance further in college at Grand Valley State University, where she earned one of four available solos for the Spring Recital.  As instructor and choreographer, she now has the opportunity to share all of the wonderful training she has absorbed.  With 11 years of competition experience, she now shares her knowledge with three competitive teams and competitive soloists.


 

Melissa Haas

Miss Melissa has been professionally trained in ballet, tap, and jazz for 22 years; lyrical for 4 years; hip-hop for 10 years; and cheerleading for 8 years.  She has been teaching dance for 10 years, and is a recent graduate from the University of West Georgia, where she majored in Mass Communications with a minor in Marketing.      Originally from Kansas City, Missouri, Miss Melissa performed on every major stage in the greater Kansas City area.  After winning the Universal Cheerleader’s Association All-Star Award, she was selected to cheer in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York in 2003.  Miss Melissa choreographed for the University of Missouri’s Greek Week for her sorority, which won first place.  Her choreography and dance talent have won several competitions over the last 17 years in both solo and team competitions.
